We rescued a stray kitten of about two months' age on November 15th and got a diagnosis of cerebellum hypoplasia from feline parvovirus. It's been two months and she's still unable to walk or eat on her own. What kind of rehabilitation would be effective for improving her motor functions and ability to eat?

Dear Ben, Thankyou for your kind heart. Unfortunately, there's no treatment for condition so far, since the condition is caused by a lack of development of the brain. But the condition is not painful or contagious. She just need some extra tender loving care to minimize minor injuries and she'll able to have a normal life. Regards, Dr. Nisrina

Our cat has bad breath. I want to brush her teeth, but she doesn't like being touched in the mouth. I've been bitten before so I'm a little afraid. Is there a good solution to this? (By the way, I've been wondering why the cat doesn't smell after grooming herself, even though she has bad breath)

Bad breath is not normal, even in an older cat. Contact your vet if your cat has bad breath. Your vet will be able to fully, and safely examine your cat’s mouth, which may not be easy for you to do at home.
