My pet just caught a rather big fly and ate it. He doesn't look nauseous or anything, but since flies aren't very clean, I'm concerned that his stomach might get infested with bugs. Is there anything I should keep an eye out for?

Dear Rosamie, Not necessarily, the stomach of animals is quite acidic and will therefore destroy and dissolve any insect as far as it is not a carrier of pathogens.
