Cat / Scottish Fold - Answered 1472 days ago
Hi, I have a cat named Totoro who just turned 12. We were told last year at our yearly checkup that he had some fluid in his heart, but in a recent ultrasound, it didn't seem much of a problem. Last week he vomited twice after eating - it looked like water and undigested food, probably everything that was in his stomach. His appetite drops before vomiting, but other than that he does act hungry and eats things he likes. Do you think this might be because of constipation? If have any advice that would be great.

Hi Susan. Undigested food vomit in cats is normal. I advice to give wet food for a week and then back to normal food in the next week. Keep the environment clean too. Thankyou Susan. Regards, Dr. Nisrina
