I sometimes find vomit on the sofa when I come home. Even when I’m at home, our dog hides away to throw up once in a while. Sometimes it's undigested food, and sometimes it's just transparent liquid, like gastric acid. Do you think it's because of the food? Or is there a possibility of some disease? I give my dog dry food, and take him to yearly checkups when I get him vaccinated.

Hi Mr. Henry , hope you are doing well, Well, from your description of your musashi that you have given, looks like he is pretty healthy. It is not unusual for them to vomit in such a pattern, so don't be worried. What appears to me is that, Physical activity after eating or drinking too much water If your dog is into running with you or you’re taking a training class where you’re using food as a reward, you might want to watch how much you allow them to have right before or during activity. If a dog eats or drinks too much water they’re active this could lead to vomiting. If this is the case you’ll likely see undigested food in the vomit - what went down comes right back up! So, watch him carefully. Don't give unnecessary medicines. You can give ondansatron @ 1.5 g/ kg body weight or any other antiemetic for that matter. That's all from my side , hopping speedy recovery of your Musashi. Thank you Beat regards
