Dog / Maltese - Answered 1315 days ago
I was wiping my dog's mouth with a pet wipe the other day, when he ran away with it and ate the wipe. I called our pet clinic and was told to wait and see how it goes. It's been a week but he looks full of energy, eats a lot, and defecates normally. Do you think he's good to go?

Hello Clarice, hope you are good and healthy. Well, see if something harmful had to happen, would have happened by now. So don't worry. The usual signs dogs show after ingesting such kind of things are : Signs that may indicate your dog has unwittingly eaten a facial covering include lethargy; nausea; lip licking; vomiting; a hard, swollen, or sensitive abdomen; diarrhea; loss of appetite; or being more irritable than usual, So it looks like all fine but I am unable to think of the fate of that wipe paper! What happened to that.!!? My suggestions would be to get a radiological examination done of your dog, it may reveal something. Thank you. Beat regards.
