Dog / Maltese - Answered 1394 days ago
I was wiping my dog's mouth with a pet wipe the other day, when he ran away with it and ate the wipe. I called our pet clinic and was told to wait and see how it goes. It's been a week but he looks full of energy, eats a lot, and defecates normally. Do you think he's good to go?

Hi You should still keep a sharp eye on your dog for any choking signs and observe your dog for any indications of gastrointestinal concerns. A gastrointestinal blockage is the most frequent side effect dogs will get after consuming a pet wipe. Symptoms will include diarrhea, vomiting, sluggishness, and/or dehydration. But if nothing still happens, to clear all doubts, you should conduct a radiological examination to show if anything is lying there.
