Dogs can get sick from eating mouse poop and droppings in certain circumstances. For example, dogs can get sick from mice poop with poison in it. There is also a possibility of the contracting the leptospirosis if infected mouse urine is on the poop.
So it's rather important that you pay your vet a visit.
