Bleeding happens in any enteric viral or bacterial infections when intestinal mucosa is shredded due to loss of water from body and though tranexamic acid injection or tablet might have a little momentary effect but its not of much help in routine therapy as in any enteric infection the goal is to prevent dehydration and as the body is rehydrated by oral or intravenous fluids , mocosa builds up again n bleeding stops eventually
