My cat started vomitting 4 days ago and his bowel is also soft. He has lost his voice due to vomitting but he would still eat continously. I stopped giving him food but gave him water with dextrose powder instead. He started feeling better, he would only poop once but still vomits what he intake. I realized he got some terrible colds and I think he might have sore throat since he lost his voice. Now, I gave him erceflora orally, lots of water with dextrose powder and cold syrup. He is still vomitting when he eats but he was still eating a lot than before. Is it really colds or should I be alarm and need to turn him over to the vet? What are the other home remedies that I can do. Since,it's pandemic, we are only allowed to go out following the curfew.
Hi joy , Your pet may suffer from simple gastitis , drug like ondosterone , SUCRALFATE , pantoprazole & multivitamins are helpful . * Must go for KFT ( Kidney function test) , it reveals chronic problems if there in your pet. Thanks

I don't know if this is an injury, but I found black stripes in two of the claws of the front right leg after taking my pet to get his nails clipped about a month ago. He doesn't seem to be feeling any pain. What do you think this is? Is it just some pigment coming out?
Hii , this may be simple pigmentation or sign of mild allergic reaction , wash it with diluted povidine -iodine . Keep dry And try to upload pics for further suggestions . Thanks

I checked the test results again; they were BUN 35.7 Cre 1.18. Should we really quit topping his food with chicken breasts? I've tried alternatives like sweet potato and pumpkin toppings, but he doesn't seem to like it as much. I really regret not giving him plain dog food from the beginning. Our home doctor advised us to pull the dish away if he doesn't eat since he would eat dog food on its own if he really wanted food. I understand that you must have the same opinion, but the dog isn't trained very well so starts biting our legs and won't stop barking when he wants food. In the end, I give in and add toppings. Do we really have to ban chicken breasts? Are there any toppings that are okay to give every day? I just want to make sure he keeps eating. I'm sorry for the long comment.
Hello Johannes, Your pet ( juju) need less protein diet that's why you should limits chicken intake . Chicken minced, and boiled extensively use in very least amount only to mixed with other diet , or chicken soup powder , non veg. flavouring agents are quite helpful to rid away from problems . * Frequent / always availability of water and smooth walking excersise are too helpful. Thanks .

The vet pointed out bad breath in the kitten we adopted from a shelter at 6 months. We'd been giving him gum massages using Oratene gel with our fingers once daily, but we forgot after a while since we got busy with adopting a new cat. After two months the smell got worse so we restarted the massaging. It’s been a month since then but it hasn't been very effective. The vet told us that we should get medication to improve his constitution (twice a year, 10 doses a time, $100 per 10 doses ($200 per year)) if the massages won't work. He also told us that if this continues, our cat might lose the ability to eat food at an early age. I'd like to avoid having to use the medications - is there anything we can do other than that? By the way, we feed him dry food, and we don't give him treats very often (1-2 times a month). *Also, I don't know if this helps, but his lower front teeth are crooked. The vet said that it isn't really a problem since he has all six teeth.
Hello , Dennis hall Oratene antiseptic oral ointment is good in this case , be using the product . Along with give a gentle soft brushing with liquid povidine -iodine solution (for oral use) . Thanks

I give my pet semi-therapeutic food on a daily basis. Is it ok for us to continue giving semi-therapeutic food? Also, our pet cannot eat up the amount of food suggested on the package. Should we try to make him eat that amount, by making him exercise more?
Hello Ari , Ao , May dislike the taste of product , or packet may open from last long days . I suggest you to change the packet food , and use it minimum with exchange of egg , milk and meat products ( well cooled) . Thanks

My cat goes outside and sometimes comes back with ticks. It's easy to remove 1mm size ticks, but bigger ones around 3mm bite onto the skin firmly and won't come off. Is there a good way to pry them off? I've tried skin drops on the neck, drugs you use on blankets and the body, and a collar - he tore it off in a few hours while he was outside. Please give me advice.
Hii , Rest of the accessories wash in the cypermethrin solutions kept pet commodities free from ticks egg ,larvae and adults ticks . Thanks

I adopted a female Toy poodle that's about 2 and a half years old, who runs around the room every day. It's cute and I don't see anything dangerous about it so I leave her alone, but should I make her stop? Is there a possibility of some disorder? She usually doesn't run around whenever we go to the park - she shrinks behind me and just barks.
Hii Sandra , Zion , feel free and independent in house while may feel fear/shy factor in park or outside , try to make interactive by taking in lap or in bag and talking to pet during walking session . Loose for freely move in park. Thanks

Recently she suddenly stood up, walked around in circles, and urinated while sitting right in front of the toilet sheets. Should I take her to the vet to get some medication for it?

My dog always trembles when he doesn't have an appetite in the morning - when he is hungry he'll willingly eat on his own. The trembling subsides after a while when I pick him up, but he still won't eat. His feces are usually hard and come out in little balls, or are a small amount. Sometimes he will also have a bloated stomach if the symptoms continue for several days. Our vet gave us probiotics the other day, but my dog's feces are still sometimes hard or sometimes a little soft. I hope he just wants attention... For pet food, I give him a mixture of Kia Ora and weight control food from Supreme, in the morning. I also give him bits of chicken breasts, yogurt, and natto. At night I give him soup with chicken breasts, salmon, and vegetables such as Chinese cabbage, carrots, broccoli, and radish. I give home soup because he doesn't drink much water during the day.
Hii, Simon Your concerns toward haru is good . Keep going on homemade diet with special attention to avoid garlic , onion and chocolate too . Use of purgative like pumpkin soup or physallium husk drink . Thanks

My cat was diagnosed with struvite stones in her urine at a health check last year, and has been eating specialty food ever since. I want to give her treats like Churu once in a while - Is it OK to give her treats if they're made for urinary tract health?
#Reason for struvite *Bacteria in your urinary tract produce struvite when they break down the waste product urea into ammonia. For struvite to be produced, your urine needs to be alkaline. Having a urinary tract infection can make your urine alkaline. Struvite stones often form in female who are likely to have urinary tract infection. #Preventive & curable steps are providing vitamin c supplements naturally (medicine) along with ad libtum water . #Acetohydroxamic acid (AHA) blocks the buildup of ammonia that can cause struvite stones to grow. * Note: Size is not known to say about surgery, go for x-ray or USG.

I get my cat vaccinated every year, but this year she suddenly became ill about 10 days after the vaccine. I took her to the vet and she had a very high fever. The vet told us the vaccine might've had some effect but the true cause wasn't clear. The fever subsided after about a week of antibiotics, but I'm afraid of the same thing or maybe even worse side effects happening next year. She had a serious roundworm infection when she was young, and since then she's been unable to digest certain proteins (She will have diarhhea after eating food such as chicken, salmon, bonito). It's commonly said that you should get your pet vaccinated every year, but is that really necessary?? I've heard of some clinics who only vaccinate once in three years. By the way, I have three cats in total, and they're always kept indoors.
Hii, Loretta Vaccinations keep important role don't be afraid of alter reactions earlier happen . Always be sure that that gave dewormer and liver tonics one week before vaccination. Wormed animal are immunodeficient while they show normal appetite and energy level, hence suffers little more in vaccination response. #Composition like PYRANTEL PAMOATE AND FEBANTEL are very effective as dewormer.

My dog injured his left hind leg after jumping and falling on the wooden floor two weeks ago. We took him to the vet the day after because he was limping, but x-rays didn't show any fractures or dislocations. The vet told us there was a possibility of a hip joint disorder but would need to perform further tests to confirm. Right now it has been a week with painkillers, and he still doesn't seem to be able to put his full weight on the leg - his energy levels and appetite are normal. We've been giving him specialty food and supplements that are said to help with joints. I would like to avoid surgery, but my biggest concern is that we sometimes hear his hip joints clicking. Please give us your thoughts.
hii, Anne As u said , your pet may get injured by minor strain/tear in ligament /tendon . Normally it make time to go . Care like lukewarm(250milliliter) with salt(2tsp) soked cloth over site give good heeling . Vitamins b complex like B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 & B12 are very helpful, be sure these should be in your pet supplements .
