My cat is suspected to have leukemia, but is it possible to get her spayed?

Well I would love to differ as the animal with leukemia is more likely to develop complications post surgery and rather I would advise you to wait for the treatment of leukemia to get completed as a depressed immune system is unlikely to tolerate any major surgery .the body must feel normal and healthy to undergo any elective surgery and this is not the case with this animal.i would suggest you to wait for the outcome of leukemia treatment before you go ahead with spaying .
